Why Do Askers In R&S "Thumbs Down" Legitimate Answers?

It's more common than you think. I wouldn't worry about it because no one is the police on here; if some do not like or find an answer to be legitimate that is what the thumbs down is for. Not sure why you asked this but the answer is more than obvious. Different opinions and views. That's what makes it unique, however I do not agree with bogus violation reports by the ignorant on here.
