Why do muslims deny that they worship the same God as Christians?

Last time I checked it was Christians who said we're worshipping two different Gods. Tell you what. The God I'm worshipping have answered most of my prayers. Anyway, some Christians think Jesus is God. In that sense, they're worshipping a man, not God, but some others worship God, but I've never seen a Christian say "God saves". It's almost always "Jesus saves". Christians have forgotten about God and have turned Jesus into an idol.
