What does the bible say about love matches vs. arranged marriages?

I know in Orthodox Jewish families marriages are often arranged by parents for their children through a matchmaker but usually with the child's consent. Love matches conversely may meet with parental disapproval. I wondered what the bible says about love matches vs. arranged marriages especially in light of the commandment to honor one's parents.
