What should I get for school? (haven't been in a while)?

I'm going back to college after 7 years out of high school next fall and I have no idea what type of materials I'll need. I have a backpack that I mostly just use for travel, and I have pens. I'm taking a web animation and design course. I don't think I'll need my laptop because the school has the comps there. I was thinking a usb stick, maybe a pad of paper and a binder. I have like 6 to 8 classes (I think) what else should I get. I know this may sound dumb but getting supplies for grade and high school for the last who knows how many years has got me looking at markers and pencil crayons when I got to Walmart :)
